By Road: The place is well connected to other cities in Goa through a network of roads. There are frequent to and from buses between Colva and Panaji (35 km) as well as Madgaon (6 km).

Tourist attractions in Colva

Nossa Senhora de Merces:
The church finds an important place in the history books for the annual Fama of Menino Jesuse event, which is being held here since the 17th century. Celebrated on the third Monday of October, the event is marked with a feast and a huge fair.
